Kavelearn Tutoring ("KAVELEARN") may provide the services of independent Kavelearn Tutors to providers of educational services, such as schools, school districts, or teachers (collectively, "Schools") that procure such services for educational purposes. When KAVELEARN enters into a contract with a School to furnish tutoring services, KAVELEARN may collect or access Student Data (as defined below), which may be supplied by the School or by the student. KAVELEARN treats such Student Data as strictly confidential and generally does not utilize such data for any purpose other than enhancing and delivering tutoring services to the School or on behalf of the School. KAVELEARN's collection, use and disclosure of Student Data is governed by this Agreement and any applicable laws and regulations including, in the U.S, provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA"), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and applicable state laws, including without limitation the Illinois Student Online Personal Protection Act (SOPPA).

The Site is a marketplace that enables the connection between Users who seek tutoring services ("Students") and Users who provide tutoring services ("Tutors"). Tutors are independent businesses engaged by Students and have sole responsibility for determining and controlling the methods, materials, scheduling, frequency, duration and all other aspects of the tutoring they provide.

You affirm and guarantee that you have the power to provide consent on behalf of parents for KAVELEARN to gather information from students under 13 before allowing such students to access our Service, if you are a School furnishing the Service to children under 13. We advise that all Schools disclose to students and parents their use of service providers such as KAVELEARN and that they provide a copy of our Privacy Policy to parents.
